Together in this: Reciprocity was created by Urban Ventures Leadership Foundation and CityKid Java Music to connect local recording artists and inner city youth. This CD project allowed youth and artists to share their interest in making music…true reciprocity.

Urban Ventures Leadership Foundation is a Twin Cities nonprofit that focuses on breaking the cycle of generational poverty in the inner city. Many programs are focused around youth development, leadership and education. One of UV's latest ventures is the completion of a state-of-the art recording studio which gives kids access to recording arts and mentoring. Most of the songs were recorded at UV's studio with youth assisting in the engineering. 100% of the profits from this CD go to keeping the recording studio cost-free for kids.
