The Urban Stars basketball program is located in the Colin
Powell Youth Leadership Center. Four wood floor courts are
available for training, leagues and tournaments. Urban Stars
offers a year-round basketball program for boys and girls
ages 5 to 18 at different levels of ability.

| Traveling Basketball: |
Teams are formed based on grade (4th – 8th grade)
and playing ability (A,B,C). Teams compete in tournaments
throughout the metro area. Tryouts are in September and
the season ends in March. Cost $75

| Spring Basketball: |
Teams are formed based on grade (4th – 8th grade)
and playing ability. Teams compete in tournaments throughout
the metro area. Tryouts being in April and the season
ends in June.
Cost $50

| Fall Basketball: |
Teams are formed basked on grade (4th – 8th grade)
and playing ability. Tryouts are in September. The team
plays eight games throughout the metro area. Cost $25 |
| Kids Basketball: |
A fun option for kids in grades K – 4th. Two practices
per week, and lower basket goals used for all games (8’
instead of 10’). Junior basketball used for optimum
skill development, and offensive skills and fundamentals
taught and emphasized.
Cost $30 for one session; $20 for each additional session

Urban Stars holds several basketball camps throughout

Training is available for individuals as well as small

Pick-up games are organized by levels and abilities.
